I don’t get why you would plot out an RP, what I like about them is how completely unpredictable they are, and having a plot to stick to just makes it seem like being an actor via text, which I don’t see much appeal in.

i like doing a bit of both!
big stuff i plot out but most of the time i just let stuff happen as it goes 0u0

I ordinarily wouldn’t, I just really like the plot I’m currently working on.

I think it depends on the kind of RP.  If it’s all just PwP/fluffy stuff, then it doesn’t really need a plot.  But for more serious RPs, it’s sometimes easier to give a basic structure to the story before actually diving into it.  That way you don’t run into any dead-ends in a plot where it’s like “Um…where do we go from here…”
